Brother Mohammed Ibrahim Ludwick has composed an excellent well thought out book on this pertinent topic. I am not aware of anyone else who has so clearly and concretely laid out this discussion. Furthermore, the book is unique in several ways:
- It is a cry from a heart of Imaan, and does not compromise with kufr ideologies of nationalism, democracy and other rantings of confused activists.
- It pragmatically calls for Muslim introspection in a holistic manner and is not confined to concern for only one section of the oppressed Ummah, nor will its message be easily outdated.
- It is honest and does not stretch Islamic texts for the author’s agenda, as some as wont to do.
I am honoured to have been associated with the editing process of the book (of course, I do not approve of the author’s chosen spelling of his name).
May Allah accept the author.
