Sheikh I understand you specialize in history so may I ask, is this narration authentic:
“Attaa Rahmatullah alaihi says: “Some people will be resurrected in such a condition that their hands will be pregnant, I think they are those who masturbate.”

The narration as an opinion of Ataa is authentic in that al-Imaam al-Baghawi comments under al-Muminun:7 that Ibn Jurayj asked al-Ataa about masturbation. He replied, “It is disliked. I heard that some people will be resurrected with their hands pregnant. I think that they will be these.”
Your question is perhaps based on hearing that the Muhaddithun have raised issues on those narrations on the pregnant hand directly attributed to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. While true that there are doubts on those narrations, our Imaams have expounded their respective rulings from the verse referenced. This suffices for us.
